 Homework
Students receive homework each day. They are responsible for writing homework and upcoming test/project due dates in their planners. All assignments are to be completed by the assigned due date and are to be turned in at the beginning of each class period. Please check Announcements each week to be informed of upcoming tests, quizzes and projects.
7th Grade Late Work Policy
Late work will receive partial credit:
Assignment 1st day late – 20 point penalty
Assignment 2 days late – 50 point penalty
Assignment 2 or more days late - 50 point penalty & placed in M.A.S.H. session
Two late assignments in a one week period - 1 week placement in S.T.E.P.A
Missing assignments will be graded as zero.
RAH (Reading at Home) – Students are expected to read 100 minutes per week. RAH sheets are to be signed by a parent and returned to class each Tuesday.
Skyward Grading System - Heritage Middle School policy requires grades to be posted in the computerized grading system once per week. |
