It is such a privilege to work with your children!  I truly believe that gifted and talented students need advocates, and I promise to be one for your child.  I have developed a passion for teaching GT children and truly believe that they deserve the opportunity to grow to their full potential.  It is crucial that GT students have opportunities to stretch and grow with their intellectual peers, and we have a  challenging, fun-filled year ahead of us.  Please check this website on a regular basis as a form of communication, and please feel free to contact me (via email or at CES/ 817-788-4940 or GES/817-251-5735).

About me......

I am a former employee of GCISD and have taught for the district for seven years at Colleyville Middle School.  I taught PAT Language Arts and Gifted and Talented Seminar.  I am a graduate of UTA, with a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in education, and while at CMS, I completed my GT Endorsement through Hardin-Simmons University.  I have presented at the Texas Association of Gifted and Talented (TAGT) on differentiation.  I am married with two children who attend CES.  For the last few years, I was a stay-at-home mom, as well as being a TAKS math tutor at Colleyville Elementary.  I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the river, traveling, reading, solving logic puzzles, and going to the movies.
