We hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable break.  There are only two weeks left in the third nine week grading period.  If your child has papers to correct please help them to get that accomplished as soon as possible.

Are you interested in having your child tested for the Elementary PAT program (Program for the Academically Talented)?~ Find out about the nomination and testing process for the PAT program.~ A meeting will be held on Bear Creek campus Thursday, April 3rd at 6:00 PM in the library to discuss nomination procedures and specific criteria for grades K-4.

Starting next week the students will have weekly take home packets for reading.  We encourage you to look these over when your child is finished and help them with questions that they did not understand.  We are continuing to work on reading strategies to help them be as successful as possible on the upcoming TAKS Reading test.  Any support you can give the students at home is greatly appreciated.
