Staff Development Opportunities for the 08-09 year!  
Start planning now for FLEX!  Check out  this list for staff development so far. .  .We have a lot of Out-of District offerings that give the specificity that you may be seeking.

 I am currently working on online courses for Kindergarten through 5th grade that will be a great overview of the grade level, and key information about the content, planning and instructional strategies.  Each course will be six credit hours, watch for them at the beginning of the summer! Perfect for those that are new to the content, new to the grade level and those that just want to deepen understanding of social studies structure, please join!

GCISD is taking a united approach to teaching and learning.  Two outstanding speakers, Bill McBride and Patricia Lerwick will kick off the conference on the first day, and the next two days will be breakout sessions that will change the way you think about your classroom and your content.
