MIDDLE SCHOOL Teachers of Social Studies!

8th Grade- The March Benchmark window will be given between the 10th and the 14th. (The week before Spring Break) Please make sure to check your test numbers and answer documents to ensure a smooth administration!


 Part II of the Social Studies Middle School Vertical Team meeting will be May 8th! Dawn will be sending out sub codes two weeks prior to the meeting.

Cross Timbers' Texas Quiz Show Team of '07!

Cross Timbers team, John Benedetto, Christa Devonshire and Emily Noel won 2nd place at the regional Texas Quiz Show competition at TCU!  This event focuses on students' knowledge of Texas History, geography, economics, politics, sports, entertainment and trivia sponsored by the Texas State Historical Association.  They have been invited to represent the DFW area at the state meet on April 28th at the Bob Bullock Museum of Texas History in Austin.  It will broadcast on cable access television approximately one month from the competition.  Way to go team!  Thanks to CTMS teacher Ashley Dolecki for sharing this fantastic news and wonderful pictures!
