        Grade level information can be found by using the Third Grade Home button on the left.  Here you can find important dates, newsletters, homework guidelines and our general schedule.  There are links to each of the five teachers here as well.  Be patient--this is a new endeavor for all of us and pages may be at different stages of ready!

        Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Thomas and I are a team.  I teach Science and Social Studies to all three of these homeroom classes.  Mrs. Brown teaches Reading and Language Arts.  Mrs. Thomas teaches Math.  You may contact each of us for individual subject concerns.

        We've made it through one full nine weeks!  Your children are one-fourth of the way finished with third grade already!

Announcements
PLEASE RETURN REGISTRATION PACKETS! The office staff has set a May 15 deadline! *My students receive $20 (class money) if returned by the 2nd, $10 if returned by the 9th and $5 if returned by the 15th!

Friday, May 2nd is Hawaiian Day! Wear your tropical best! Students will be entertained by the GMS band and choir at 10:30, and will enjoy an extended recess with snow cones and popcorn. Thanks, PTA!

May 12th begins staff appreciation week. Be sure to remember those "other" teachers and office staff too!

May 13th is our FIELD TRIP to the DALLAS ZOO! Please sure that your permission slips are completed (both sides) and returned no later than May 7th!!

May 19th is Bluebonnet Jeopardy! We have a team of competitive students!!! Make plans to attend and be the loudest cheering section! Go Team Strang!!!

Third Grade Awards Assembly is June 3rd at 8:15! Bring your tissue box and camera! We're coming in third graders, and leaving fourth graders.
