April 2008

Dear Bear Creek Parents,

This is a busy month for everyone at Bear Creek Elementary. Our third, fourth, and fifth graders are busily preparing for the Math, Reading, and Science TAKS from April 29th-May 1st. Third and Fourth Grade Math will be on Tuesday, April 29, and Fourth Grade Reading and Third and Fifth Grade Reading Retakes will be on April 30.  Fifth Grade will take the TAKS Science test on Thursday, May 1. We want everyone to do well on these very important tests. Please make sure your child has a good night’s sleep and a great breakfast on the test days! Because of testing security, we are closing the campus to all visitors on those days. All third, fourth, and fifth grade students will be eating in their classrooms on their testing days. We should get official results by the end of May.

Please remember Monday, April 14, 2008 will be a student holiday.
