Houghton Mifflin Fake Out! http://www.eduplace.com/fakeout/ There are two possible activities on this site: choose the real definition and write a fake definition.  There are two sets of words for each K-2 and 3-5.  One set has the students try to pick the correct definition from a list of definitions written by other students.  The second set has the students write their own fake definitions.  They can check back to the site in two weeks to see if their fake definition was chosen and how many students they fooled.
