Spreadsheet:  The Peopling of America
Students choose a time period represented on the timeline and use a spreadsheet program to graph the immigration statistics of that period.  Student can then compare and contrast their graphs with each other and make generalization.
How to Create a Graph Help Page:  Microsoft Excel

Web Page:  Immigrant Biographies:
Read stories of immigrants who made significant contributions to the United States. Then using a web editor (Netscape Composer) create a short biographical web page on a chosen person.
For a web page template:  Have the students open Netscape Communicator.  Then click this link and choose FILE, EDIT PAGE
