Information about the CMS Library
Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Later upon request.
Checkout Procedures: Students must present their student IDs or have their ID numbers to check out library materials. They may checkout audio books as well as printed material. Up to 3 items may be checked out for a 3 week period; they may be renewed for an additional 3 weeks. Students may not check out videotapes or reference books.
Fines: 10¢ per book per school day is charged for overdue books. Replacement cost is charged for lost or damaged books. Additional library materials will not be checked out to students with overdue books or fines.
Computers: Students may use the library computers for school related purposes only. Subscription databases and the free Internet are available for their use. Students are encouraged to use our subscription databases first.
Laser Printer: Black and white prints are 10¢ per page. Students are encouraged to analyze information to determine relevance, to take notes, and to print only photos, maps, and other graphics.
Home Access: The library subscription databases can be accessed from home by clicking on the links below. Please contact the librarian for usernames and passwords.
