Get to Know Me

I was born in Dallas, Texas and reared in a small rural community between Irving and Grand Prairie, Texas called Shady Grove. I grew up riding horses and playing basketball. To be able to continue playing basketball at the high school level, I had to drive to Coppell High School. I attended Weatherford Junior College on a basketball scholarship, and finished my Bachelor of Science degree at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. My Master's degree is from Texas A&M at Commerce, previously East Texas State University.
