Tall Tales
DAVY CROCKETT AND TALL TALES:
Students will not only examine the real life of David Crockett, they will also look at various legends and tall tales to decipher the requirements for this genre's heroes and formatting. Online resources, rubrics, and
extension activities all included.
TALL TALES:
Computers can be used to integrate technology into this lesson plan, whereby students will compare American and Japanese tall tales and be able to define the genre.
